Fellowships &
Postgraduate Support

The Office of External Fellowships & Postgraduate Guidance offers assistance in all stages of the application process for major national fellowships and competitive postgraduate support. We provide information on available programs, strategic planning, advice, and assistance in completing a competitive application.

Through this office, prospective and currently enrolled students can learn about the many fellowships that are available from diverse sources, including the government, private donors, foundations, civic organizations, and corporations. Some of these programs are offered through Rutgers, while others are available through other universities and through public and private entities. From a graduate fellowship at Rutgers' Ernest Mario School of Pharmacy, to a fellowship in an administrative office in the City of New York, to a Fulbright Fellowship or Rhodes Scholarship that can take a student far from New Jersey, opportunities abound.

This office is not only geared for students in their last few years of college, but for all students - from first-years to seniors - who want to pursue their academic goals beyond Rutgers through a national fellowship. All students are encouraged to take advantage of the resources of this office and learn about these fellowships early in their college careers. Likewise, faculty members are requested to recommend promising students of any year with strong academic records and breadth of experience to this office.

For more information contact the Director of Fellowships and Postgraduate Guidance, Arthur D. Casciato, at 732-932-8269.
